Original Hand-signed Signature Letter Governor Ronald Reagan October 10, 1969 to Ward Quaal. (Letter from the Estate of Ward Quaal: See Bio Below)  This letter was written on Official Stamped State of California Governor's Office Stationary and regards a dinner and reception for Kwok Wai Lau.  There are a couple of staple holes in one corner.  


Ward Quaal Bio:

Ward Quaal is recognized as one of the 20th Century's broadcasting legends.  Ward Quaal began working at WGN radio in Chicago in 1941.  As eventual President and General Manager of the WGN Continental Broadcasting Company, both WGN radio and WGN television became known for quality programming and dedicated involvement within the Chicago community.  Broadcasting and Cable Magazine named Ward Quaal as one of their top "100 Men of the Century" and he became one of the industry's "most influential and respected statesmen."  He was also very well respected within the Political Arena especially with the likes of Richard Nixon and his very close friends Ronald and Nancy Reagan.
